Mandeville Soccer Club

• Lakers is the highest level of competitive soccer offered at Mandeville Soccer Club. It is intended for players with a high level of ability and commitment. Our goal is to assist youth players in achieving their potential as players and teammates. Premier players are typically committed to soccer as their primary sport.
• This program begins at the U11 age group and up. Athletes participate in try-outs overseen by our coaching directors and staff. Invitations are issued to those players that are selected to participate on the teams. Roster spots are not guaranteed from year to year.
• At the U11 and U12 age groups, MSC typically fields 2 competitively balanced teams for both our boys and girls programs. These years are considered to be developmental, with emphasis on technical training and individual skills.
• At the U13 level, the two teams are combined into one team (approximately 18-player roster). Emphasis then switches from individual skills to team strategies.
• Expenses involved for Lakers players are registration fees, uniforms, practice gear, tournament and travel expenses. (Financial assistance is available for those who qualify).
