Recreational
MSC’s recreational soccer program is where it all begins. Kids from ages 4 to 13 sign up for this program because their primary objective is to have fun and gain pleasure from the sport of soccer. This level play is intended to be a fun environment where players learn all of the basic and not so basic skills needed to excel. Most coaches are volunteer parents who share the same love for the game.
Rec teams practice 1 to 2 times per week and have games on the weekend. Most games are played within Pelican Park and traveling is kept to a minimum. Some of our older teams play in the Northshore Recreational League where teams from other Northshore communities are involved. The younger teams play all intramural games against other MSC teams.
