Youth Academy
The MSC Academy is a program for U8-U9 players in the recreational program that have been identified and invited to participate. Our focus is to give the more advanced and serious player additional training which provides an environment for them to improve their technical ability (Individual Skill). Sessions will be once a week for an hour and will last through to the end of the fall season. After the winter break the Academy starts in the spring around the same week as the regular spring season starts.
Players will be selected by the MSC staff and will include the evaluations submitted by the team coaches every year. This evaluation is the same one that is used to create teams by the MSC staff. Academy staff will contact the players to let them know that they have been selected.
MSC Director of Coaching and MSC Academy Director – Liam Rennie will be running the program. The coaching staff will consist of National Licensed professional MSC coaches and assisted by former/current MSC players.
