Mandeville Soccer Club offers an adult league called Just For Kicks (JFK). JFK soccer program is designed to offer adults in and around the Northshore area an opportunity to experience and enjoy the game of soccer in a relaxed fun environment. JFK is for adult men over 28 years of age and adult women over 23 years of age looking to try a new, fun sport or get back into playing soccer. This is the perfect soccer experience opportunity to try a new exercise, fun competition, team camaraderie, and a socially relaxed environment. The League is a Coed League and games will take place on Tuesday  nights.

3 ways to join

• Register as an Individual (free agent)- If you want to join the JFK, but do not have a team, just register as an individual and we will place you on a team!
• With a few friends - If you have some friends you want to play with, but not enough to form your own team, just sign up as an individual and in the "comments" section of your registration put the name of the other player you would like to play with, and we will put you all on the same team!
• Sign up a full team- If you have pulled together a team and have a captain. Have the Captain contact our JFK Coordinator Chad Creger to finalize team name and color.

JFK Format

• Games will be played in the 8v8 format (7 field players, 1 GK)
• Season will consist of 8  games. All games will be played on Tuesday's. Game slots will be 6pm-7pm, 7pm-8pm, and 8pm-9pm.  
• A Referee will be provided for the games
• Cost: $89 per player for the fall season (8-10 game season)
• The JFK will conclude with an End of the season tournament
• Co-ed league. Men:  ages 28 and older. Women: ages 23 and older

Just for Kick Rules of Play

·      25-minute halves = 50-minute games (5min. half-time)

·      All play will be governed by FIFA Laws of the Game with the following modifications due to 8v8 format.

·      No slide-tackling (prevents risk of injury).

·      Goalkeeper Distribution: Goal keepers may not punt or drop-kick the ball at any time during a match. Infractions of this rule will result in an indirect free kick at the spot where the infraction took place. The keeper may use their hands to throw the ball over the midfield line in the air or roll the ball on the ground to kick it over the midfield line. Goal kicks are also allowed to be played across the midfield line through the air.

·      Equal playing time for all.

·      Guest players allowed from within the JFK league only during the season not tournament play.

·      Player cards or rosters will be checked to establish a creditable league

·      Unlimited substitution at midfield line
