Mandeville Soccer Club's 5U & 6U Rookies Soccer Program is designed specifically for our youngest players (2019 and 2018 birth years).

Our goal is to provide a no-pressure, fun environment where our young players gain confidence on the ball, meet new friends, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

We have designed a program that uses small-sided games (3v3 or 4v4) to increase the individual players' touches on the ball and involvement in the game. It is the foundation of our club's player experience.

Teams play in an in-house Rookies league schedule, but no league standings or results are recorded. There are no weekly practice sessions. Games are on Saturdays. The team warm-up/practice will be before the game on Saturdays. Players are coached by parent volunteers with guidance from our Recreational Director Betsy Jacketti.
