U7 - U10 MSC

MSC U7 (2019) - U10 (2016) programming continues to build upon the foundation started in the Rookie U5 - U6 programs and builds on the Mandeville Recreational Soccer Curriculum. Our age-appropriate field dimensions and the number of players on the field increase as well. The game format is played in line with U.S. Soccer directives for small-sided games.

Playing field environment:

U7 4v4 (no goalkeeper)

U8 5v5 ( goalkeeper)

U9 - U10 7v7 (goalkeeper)

Players in our MSC recreational soccer program continue to develop from an individual and team perspective. At the U7 age group and older, we begin evaluating our players to balance teams, creating a positive experience for all players and families in the league. Thus, our program is unable to accommodate any coach, team, teammate, or carpool to maintain our players first philosophy.

Recreational teams U7 - U10 practice one time per week and have games on the weekend. All teams play in an in-house MSC league schedule, but no league standings or results are recorded. Players are coached by parent volunteers with guidance from our Recreational Director Betsy Jacketti.
