How are teams formed?
All teams are formed and balanced after all players are evaluated by the MSC coaching staff. MSC will notify all registered players after registration has ended what day, time and field the evaluation will be held. Once all players have been evaluated, you will be sent a notification informing you what team you have been placed on via Playmetrics.
10U teams will have 10-15 games per season. 9U teams will have 10-12 games per season. We take strides to eliminate excessive travel required for teams, and all the games are in a 1.5 hour drive with no overnight stays. U10 Academy players in the spring will get an opportunity to attend the Pensacola Classic Tournament. This event gives our players an experience that helps prepare then for our U11 Lakers Competitive program.
We play member teams of the Louisiana Soccer Academy (LSAP). The number of LSAP teams continues to grow since its inaugural season. With their participation, cooperation and guidance, these clubs are committing to improving the game of soccer across the state.
We will also play non-member teams, including teams from Mississippi and Alabama, but they just be approved by LSA.
