Open Training Policy

If your son or daughter is looking to take advantage of our Open Training Policy, please get in touch with Executive Director Shane Jeanfreau or Director of Coaching Pera Bascu to approve and arrange the possibility of your child to train with another team in the club.

Any competitive player wishing to get additional training outside of their respective team may do so via this Open Training Policy by contacting their coach.

Why open training?

At Mandeville Soccer Club, we want to provide the best learning environment for our players. We believe that players will grow having the opportunity to be coached by a different coaching voice and a different coaching approach while continuing to learn to play "the MSC way".

When do I use the Open Training Policy?

We highly encourage players to use the Open Training Policy for three specific reasons:

1.

Soccer development: player is seeking to increase their training volume.

2.

Player was sick and missed a training session with their respective team.

3.

Player anticipates missing a training session due to a school event (banquet, meeting, field day, etc.) or personal event (vacation, lack of transportation, etc.)

Parents have to contact their coach with at least 24 hours before the actual training session that their child is looking to attend. The director of Coaching and Player Development and the coach of the player seeking additional training will find the most appropriate team with which to train. In addition, there will be opportunities to receive additional technical through the club like Skills Night Sessions and other programs that will be offered throughout the season.
